Klaudia Murnek, 93, of West Fulton, NY,died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009 at River Ridge Living Center in Amsterdam, NY.
Born April 2, 1916 in Russia, Klaudia was a daughter of Vasili and Pelagia (Winogradowa) Isumow.
She lived most of her life on Long Island and in 2005 moved to this area to live with her daughter.
Klaudia retired in 1980 from Seagram's where she was employed as a bookkeeper for ten years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Karl Murnek
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Erika and Franco Mazzetti, Sr. of West Fulton; two granddaughters: Deborah Langevin of Yonkers and Michelle Foley of Northport, Long Island; a grandson, Franco Mazzetti, Jr. of Macungie, PA; and six great-grandchildren: Matthew, Sarah and Elizabeth Mazzetti, and Aidan, Dylan, and Cameron Foley.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009 at Ferncliff Cemetery Chapel in Hartsdale, NY with entombment to follow. A period of visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill.
