Kenneth Sheerer,
Schoharie- Kenneth M. Sheerer, Jr., 89, of Katie Lane, died Monday, April 1, 2013 at his residence.
Born November 27, 1923 in Brooklyn, he was the son of Kenneth and Lillian (Miller) Sheerer, Sr.
In 2004 Ken and his wife, Janice, moved from Livingstonville to Schoharie. He retired as a porter from Eden Park Nursing Home in Cobleskill where he had worked for nineteen years.
In his spare time, Ken enjoyed building models and furniture.
Survivors include his wife, Janice A. Sheerer, whom he married April 26, 1996; his two children: Marilyn Hellijas of Schoharie and Richard Sheerer of Long Island; two step-daughters: Sam Westerman of Middleburgh and Susan Morrow of Cobleskill; two step-sons: Allan Westerman and John Westerman, Jr., both of Middleburgh; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
