Kenneth Dixon

Cobleskill- Mr. Kenneth J. Dixon, 77, of Warnerville Cut Off, died Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at his home, following a brief illness.

Kenneth was born on March 18, 1933 in Flushing, NY, a son of the late Tillie (Forst) and John B. Dixon.

After high school, Kenneth served in the United States Army from 1952-1954. Kenneth moved to Cobleskill in 1976 from East Moriches, NY and retired from maintenance work at the former Internkitting in Cobleskill. He enjoyed woodworking, animals and his family.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Edith B. (Ruland) Dixon, of Cobleskill, NY, whom he married on August 21, 1952 and his sons: James C. (Mary Rose) Dixon of Rocky Point, NY, Donald W. (Camille) Dixon of Holbrook, NY, Kenneth W. Dixon of Cobleskill, NY and David J. (Syndie) Dixon of Seward, NY; granddaughters: Jennifer (Bryan) Whiting of Esperance, NY, Amanda Dixon of Rocky Point, NY; grandsons: Gregory Dixon of Sloansville, NY and Craig Dixon of Rocky Point, NY.

There will be no visitation or funeral services. Arrangements are private, at the request of the family.
