Katie M. Miner, aged 49, of Richmondville, New York, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, after a long battle with stage 4 brain cancer.
Katie was raised in Fort Johnson, NY, by her parents, Thomas J. Jablonski and Donna L. Bellinger Jablonski. She attended and graduated from the Broadalbin-Perth School District in Broadalbin, NY. After high school she earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY. She then went on to obtain her degree in dental hygiene at Broome Community College in Binghamton, NY. This is where she graduated with honors and began a fulfilling career as a dental hygienist. Ultimately, she found employment at Cobleskill Dental Group in Cobleskill, NY. She worked with her amazing family of co-workers and wonderful patients for 17 years.
Katie is survived by her husband, Joseph R. Miner; her daughter, Alyvia L. Zipperle (Corey I. Zipperle); her mother, Donna L. Jablonski; her stepsons, Ethan Miner and Corey Miner; her nephew, Ashton Jablonski; her niece, Ava Jablonski; her aunt, JoAnn Morbidelli (Frank Morbidelli); her aunt, "Chriss" Christine Plunkett, along with many other extended family members.
She was predeceased by her father, Thomas J. Jablonski and father-in-law, "Bob" Robert Miner.
The family will be holding a private service at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street, Cobleskill, NY.
