Kathy Gallup

COBLESKILL- Kathy A. Gallup, 56, died Wednesday, May 16, 2006 at Bassett Hospital of Schoharie County in Cobleskill, NY after a long illness.
Mrs. Gallup was born March 27, 1950 in Amsterdam, NY and was the daughter of Lauren H. and Irene (Houghtaling) Myers.
She graduated from Middleburgh Central School and was employed at Home Town Advantage in Worcester, NY as a clerk for the last eight years.
Mrs. Gallup is survived by her husband, Mahlon Gallup, whom she married on July 10, 1971, 2 daughters, Shelly Sokoloski of Utica, NY and Marcy Gallup-Hughes of Schenectady, NY, 2 sisters, Andrea Eager of East Worcester, NY and Connie Bishop of Cobleskill and 3 Grandsons, Bradley, Bryan and Aidan.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill, NY with Rev. Paul Messner officiating. Burial will follow the service in Summit Cemetery.
The family wishes to acknowledge the staff at Bassett Hospital of Schoharie County and Dr. Joyce Bitran for the care given to Kathy during her illness.
