Cobleskill- Kathryn M. Shaughnessy, 91, died peacefully Thursday, January 5, 2023..
Born on October 9, 1931 in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of Patrick Lynch and Evelyn Wilson Lynch.
Prior to her retirement she was a practicing Registered Nurse.
Her husband, Thomas C. Shaughnessy and sons, William and Thomas Shaughnessy predeceased her.
She is survived by her children, Kathryn Marsella of Syracuse, NY, Evelyn (McKenzie) Davies of Cobleskill, NY, Ann (Kevin) Collins of Cobleskill, NY, Joseph (Anita) Shaughnessy of North Carolina, Shawn (Beth) Shaugnessy of Poughkeepsie, Daniel (Kimberly) Shaughnessy of Port Jefferson, NY; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 1PM on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 138 Washington Ave., Cobleskill, NY. The family will receive relatives and friends on from noon to 1PM on Saturday at the church prior to the liturgy. Burial will take place in Cobleskill Rural Cemetery in the spring.
