Karen Noelle Cambridge, 56, of State Route 10, Cobleskill, New York died unexpectedly Wednesday, August 21, 2025, at Albany Medical Center.
Born on July 17, 1969, in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of John C. Cambridge and Marie Markle Cambridge. She was a graduate of Cobleskill Central School and spent most of her life in the local area.
Karen was a Senior Tax Professional for H&R Block in Cobleskill. She enjoyed her job and the friendships she made there.
During her youth, Karen was active in Girl Scouts. She loved the Titanic and learning about it. She enjoyed going to pancake breakfasts. Karen was an animal lover. She had a great sense of humor and a silly side. She loved Harry Potter and was proudly part of the Hogwarts Slytherin House (known for its ambitious, cunning, and resourceful members). She loved camping and traveling the world with her family. She loved going to Great Britain with her parents and spending time with her family there and going to universal Orlando with her son and daughter. She loved the shows 9-1-1, supernatural, fire country, knight rider and manifest and her most recent tv show obsession was Smallville. Back in the day she loved the Nancy drew games. She also loved anything true crime. Karen loved her tattoos she got her first one at 45. She also was a fan of back to the future. She loved cows and Stephen king. Her daughter recently got her into squishmelllows. She found a bunny one named… Sebastian. She was absolutely over the moon with it.
Karen always put her needs aside to help others in need. And now her daughter will carry on that legacy.
She was predeceased by her son, Sebashtian Cambridge; her parents; grandparents; uncles, Larry Markle and Milton Spring.
Karen is survived by her daughter, Vidalia Cambridge of Cobleskill, NY; dog, Neville; aunt, Margaret Spring of Champlain, NY; loving friend, Tina Fonda; as well as many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A service will be held at a later date with inurnment in Zion Rural Cemetery.
