Schoharie- Kaem L. LaFalce, 61, of Lorraine Drive, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023 at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown following years of ill health.
Born in Queens, NY on Feb. 15, 1962, Kaem was the daughter of Frederick and Winifred K. (Draves) Witt.
Kaem enjoyed traveling throughout the US, locally and far away. She and her husband, Charly, lived in Texas for many years before returning to Schoharie County in 2017, They were a team together in their adventures as well as in their work. Once back in the northeast, Kaem became a licensed hair designer and worked side by side with Charly in their business in Cobleskill.
Family was most important to her as they would take the grandchildren to Disney Land and other points of interest. Their pets have always held a special place in her heart, both the cats and dogs.
Forever cherishing her memories are her husband, Charles LaFalce, whom she married July 6, 1985; her brother, Craig Witt of Summit; her step-daughters: Cristy Buck of TX and Jeanette Vilaho of TN; four grandchildren: Darian, Brittnie, Mason and McKenna; and two nephews and their children.
A period of visitation will be held from 5PM to 6PM on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill with a memorial service to commence at 6PM that evening. Officiating will be Pastor Andrew Strickland of the Quaker Street Bible Church in Duanesburg.
