June Mahar

Hyndsville- June A Mahar, 58, of Clove Road passed away at her home on Sunday, December 8th, 2019 with her sister, Linda and friend, Jeff at her side.

June was born in Cobleskill NY on June 11, 1961. She was a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from Cobleskill Central School.  June enjoyed bingo, softball and bowling in earlier years and later enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She especially liked getting friends together for card games. She was a former employee of Photo Hut, the ARC, SUNY Cobleskill Dining Services and several local Bars and Restaurants in the area.

June was predeceased by her parents, Francis Sr. and Pericillia Mahar, brother, Francis Jr. and sister, JoAnn.

June is survived by her sisters, Linda Fox of Richmondville and Ella Kirkham of Milton Florida; three nieces: Teresa Wilson Fox of Richmondville, Jaime (Meghan) Fox of Powhatan, VA, Nadine Mahar (Ryan) Panarese of Cobleskill; two nephews: Daniel (Amy) Mahar of Cobleskill and Peter Mahar of Lake Elmore, VT;  and several great-nieces and great-nephews. June was also blessed with many loving friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2PM on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill where a period of visitation will be held prior, from 1 to 2PM.  Rev. James Donlon of St. Vincent de Paul Church will officiate.  Spring inurnment will be in Old Stone Fort Cemetery.
