June Bellinger

Duanesburg- June Lorraine Bellinger, 91, formerly of Duanesburg and Cobleskill, died Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Albany Memorial Hospital following a decline in her health.

Born June 10, 1920 in Schenectady, she was the daughter of Nelson and Sara (Warner) Herron. June was a 1939 graduate of the former Cobleskill Central School.

For many years she was employed as a cafeteria aide at Duanesburg Central School She was an active member of the former Open Bible Baptist Church where she was a teaching assistant and treasurer.

June was predeceased by her husband, Woodrow Bellinger, on August 7, 2001. They resided in Duanesburg for many years and most recently June lived with her daughter and son-in-law in Latham.

Survivors include her two daughters: Deborah (Jim) Leahy and Rebecca (Bob) Foggo, all of Latham; seven grandchildren: Pamela Foggo, Susan DiCaprio, Robert Foggo, Richard Foggo, Sarah Leahy, Christopher Leahy, and Lauren Leahy; and two great-grandchildren: Sydney Elizabeth and Norah June Foggo.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Valley Bible Baptist Church (formerly Open Bible Baptist) 725 Mineral Springs Road, Cobleskill, NY 12043. Officiating will be Pastor Shawn Foster. Family and friends are also invited to a period of visitation to be held at the church prior to the service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Burial will be in Slate Hill Cemetery, Town of Sharon.
