Judith L. Mann, 61, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at her home in Seward.
Born May 6, 1959 in Cobleskill, she was the daughter of the late Alan and Martha Mann. Judith graduated from Cobleskill Central School and continued her education at Barnard College before receiving a Master’s of Divinity from Bangor Theological Seminary.
After her time in the ministry, Judith became an educator and counselor through the SUNY Liberty Partnership Program working at both Sharon Springs and Schoharie Central Schools.
Forever seeking adventure, in 2018 she left her position after over twenty years to hike the Camino de Santiago with her beloved cousin and friend, Susie Gallagher.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, James Mann, who died in August of 2020.
She is survived by her children: Martin and Clover Quigley, of Cobleskill; her sister, Amy Mann of Cobleskill, and her large and loving extended family.
Family and friends are invited to a period of visitation to be held from 10:30AM to 12:30PM on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill. A graveside service will be held at Cobleskill Rural Cemetery at 1PM. Face coverings and social distancing will be respected by attendees.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cobleskill United Methodist Church Food Bank, 109 Chapel St., Cobleskill, NY 12043.
