Gilboa- Joyce A. Bailey, 73, of Mace Road, died Monday, September 23, 2013 at Albany Medical Center following a brief illness.
Born October 27, 1939 in Gilboa, she was the daughter of George W. and Evelyn (Scutt) Bailey.
Joyce was a lifelong area resident and retired from Schoharie County Farm Service Agency where she was a program assistant.
She was an active member of the Flat Creek Baptist Church.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013 at Flat Creek Baptist Church, Flat Creek Rd., Gilboa. Burial will be private in Keyserkill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh and Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill.
