Joshua Pettengill

Joshua Pettengill was born August 6, 1988 and died March 25, 2023. He was born & raised in Naples, Florida. This was something he was extremely proud of. Joshua was a Naples High School graduate. Joshua was very athletic. He played Soccer for the Optimist Youth League and football for the Naples Gators during his entire youth. Football was his favorite sport which he enjoyed his entire life. The Florida Gators was his favorite college team and the Cowboys was his favorite pro team. He loved the water and worked most of his adult life on the water in one capacity or another. Joshua's favorite things to do were boating, beaching, fishing, grilling out with a cold beer and spending time with his son Jaymeson.

Joshua was preceded by his brother, Justin Charles Pettengill. He was survived by his son, Jaymeson Cole Pettengill; father, John Pettengill; mother, Terrie Kleinberger; step father, Andrew Kleinberger; sister, Lily; brother, Joseph; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at Slate Hill Cemetery in the town of Sharon, NY on May 27th, 2023 at 10AM. Arrangements are entrusted to Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St. Cobleskill, NY.

A Memorial Mass was celebrated on Saturday, April 15th at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 625 111th Ave. N., Naples.
