Albany- Mrs. Josephing E. Ottman, 95, formerly of Cobleskill, died Nov. 15, 2007 at Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home in Albany where she had resided the past two years.
Josephine was born October 15, 1912 in Three Rivers, MA, the daughter of Joseph and Helen (Zienkiewicz) Michalski.
She resided in the Cobleskill for 52 years and was the widow of Harold D. Ottman, who died June 3, 1975. Mrs. Ottman was a member of the New Century Club, the Iroquois Indian Museum of Howes Cave, Friends of Cobleskill Public Library, and the Emerald Unit of the former Community Hospital in Cobleskill.
She was also predeceased by 3 siblings: Isabel, Walter and Richard Michalski.
Survivors include 3 sisters: Mary Emsing of Albany, Sophie Wend of Albany, and Irene Anderson of Weathersfield, CT; several nieces and nephews; and two special friends; Deborah Colley of Buffalo and Cheryl Balle of Colonie
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 20 at St. Vincent de Paul Church 138 Washington Ave. Cobleskill. Celebrant will be Father John Roos. Burial will be in Lawyersville Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
