Lawyersville- Josephine DeVitto, 88, of Lawyersville Road, formerly of Riverhead, Long Island, NY, died Monday, March 16, 2015 at Albany Medical Center.
She was born on August 1, 1926 in Manhattan, NY and was the daughter of Salvatore and Frances (Prestigiacomo) Sardisco.
She was predeceased by two sons, Vincent and Frank.
Josephine is survived by her husband, Vincent "Jim", whom she married on June 19, 1950, her children, Liberty (Anna), Louise (Albie), Anita, and Salvatore (June), her Grandchildren, Liberty, Jolene, Lea, Tarin, Torrey, Maryelle, Devon, and Eric, a Great Grandson, Vincent, and a sister, Rosalie Marotta.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 1 pm at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Josephine to AIDS Research Alliance, 1400 S. Grand Ave., Suite 701, Los Angeles, CA 90015-3011.
