Joseph Duncan

Cobleskill - Joseph C. Duncan, 60, of Pine Street, died Sunday, July 22, 2012 at his residence following a long illness.

Born December 13, 1951 in Brooklyn, he was the son of Jewell and Margaret (Weinman) Duncan.

Joe moved to the Cobleskill area in 1989 and was of Catholic faith. He loved horses and enjoyed friends and food.

Survivors include his sister: Margaret (Perry) Duncan- Garner of Middleburgh; nephew: Jameson Duncan of Cooperstown; niece: Heather Wilton of Staten Island; best friend: Julie Griffis; and three great-nephews and one great-niece.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at the IRA Home, 111 Pine St., Cobleskill, with a time of visitation to be held from 1 to 2 PM, prior to the service. Father John Roos will officiate. Interment will be in Ocean View Cemetery, Staten Island, on Thursday, July 26, 2012.
