Middleburgh- Jonathan M. Palmatier, 36, of Main St., died unexpectedly on Friday, April 18, 2014 at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady.
Born January 31, 1978 in Albany, he was the son of Alice (Young) Palmatier and the late Donald L. Palmatier, Sr.
Jonathan held various jobs at Schoharie County ARC, Price Chopper, and most recently Walmart. He was a weather fanatic and enjoyed sports, especially wrestling. He dreamed of being a member of the Middleburgh Vol. Fire Dept. and MEVAC.
Survivors include his mother: Alice (Margaret E. Bouck) Palmatier of Middleburgh; his twin brother: Donald L. Palmatier, Jr of Middleburgh,; stepsister: Donna Meister of Lakewood, FL; and numerous relatives that include the Bouck, Hoop, Salomon, and Young families.
A memorial service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Union Church, State Route 30, Fultonham with Rev. Michael Terrell officiating. Inurnment will follow in Breakabeen Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
