Middleburgh- John D. Weingarten, 60, of Lorraine Drive, died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022 at his residence with his loving family at his side.
Born Sept. 11, 1962 in Oakland, NJ, he was the son of Arthur and Dorothy (Butler) Weingarten.
John was a mechanical insulator, working for Albany Insulation for many years.
He loved motocross with his kids and time spent with family meant more than anything else to him.
Survivors include his wife, Wendi (Kochon) Weingarten, whom he married April 18, 1992; his children: Haley and Paige Weingarten, twin daughters, Andrew Weingarten and Landry Weingarten all of Middleburgh and David and Alyssa (Bongiorno) of Halfmoon. He is also survived by 3 of 4 brothers: Arthur Weingarten, deceased, of Warsaw, NY, Steve and MaryAnn Weingarten of Newville, PA, Rob and Tami (Wescott) Weingarten of Carlisle, NY, Bill and Liz (Dafeldecker) Weingarten of Cobleskill, NY; sister-in-law, Holly (Kochon) Kahabka of Cobleskill, brother-in-law, Scott Kochon of Saratoga Springs, and several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with the family's wishes, there will be no public services. Memorial contributions may be made to Marathon for a Better Life, PO Box 268, Warnerville, NY 12187.
Arrangements are entrusted to Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill, NY.
