John H. Radliff, 68, of Cobleskill, passed away suddenly on April 9, 2024. He was born on December 31, 1955 to Howard and Nancy (Senecal) Radliff. He was proud to be a dairy farmer and spent his entire life farming on his family farm. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Terran (Coons) Radliff, and his much-loved family: four sons and their spouses, his daughter, his thirteen grandchildren and a good friend who he considered to be another son. John loved his family deeply and passed his love of agriculture on to them. He is also survived by four sisters, several nieces and nephews, and his dog, who was his constant companion.
John spent a lifetime speaking out for agriculture, and, to quote a dear friend, “John is famous for his passion….you can hear it in his voice….he often wears it on his sleeve….I think it grows in his beard.” He wished to be remembered as a husband, father, farmer and advocate.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Schoharie Valley Farms, 5605 State Route 30, Schoharie on Wednesday, June 19th from 6:00-8:00pm.
There are so many people sharing their stories that his family has started a scrapbook. If you will be attending the Celebration of Life and would like to share a written “John Story”, please bring it with you, so that his legacy will live on.
