John Puglia

: John Puglia, of Eminence, born Aug. 13, 1944 in Queens, New York, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2007 at Albany Medical Center's Renal Transplant Unit.

He was retired in 1982 from the NYC Transit Police Dept. had been the treasurer of the NYC Transit Police Polanski Association.

Mr. Puglia was a former Schoharie County Democratic Committeeman for the Town of Summit and was a current chairman of the Board of Assessment Review for the Town of Summit. He was also a member and Chairman of the Summit Planning Board from 1987- 2002.

Mr. Puglia is survived by his best friend and loving wife, Maryann and many wonderful and caring friends and neighbors and his "family" at Albany Medical Center, Renal transplant Unit.

There will be no viewing for services.
