John Buskey Jr

Warnerville- John M. Buskey, Jr. died on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at his home after battling lung cancer.

John was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, especially his Harley and spending time with his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife, Leona Buskey; his children: Eric (Cathy) Buskey, Jesse Buskey and Kristina (Rick) Packard; his grandchildren: Eric Jr., Christian, and Rebecca Buskey, Gabriel Buskey, and Kari Ann Schaffer; his brothers and sisters: Sally Willey of Dayton, OH, Dennis (Patty) Narducci of Plattsburgh, Barbara (Michael) Tucker of St. Augustine, FL, Roger (Jeannine) Buskey of Schenectady, Jean (Greg) Morris of PA, Jane (Kurt) Pinsky of NC, Joann Buskey (Michael Messier) of St. Albans, VT, Terri (Gary) Johnson of Arley, AL, Robert Buskey of St. Albans, VT, Dale (Margaret) Buskey of Malta, John St. Andrews of Syracuse, Barbara Buskey-Freeman of Schenectady, Shirley Buskey of Schenectady; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sisters; Lisa Buskey and Robin Buskey; his mother: Sadie La Mont and his father, John M. Buskey, Sr.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh with a period of visitation to be held prior to the service from 1 to 2 PM at the funeral home. Inurnment will be private in Breakabeen Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Carol Coltrain of the Huntersland United Methodist Church.
