Joan Taylor

Warnerville- Mrs. Joan A. Taylor, 67, of State Route 7, died Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown following a brief illness.
Mrs. Taylor was born November 12, 1941 in Cobleskill, the daughter of William R. and Charlotte (Dietz) Armstrong.
She was a 1960 graduate of the former Cobleskill Central School. Mrs. Taylor worked numerous jobs, but most recently was employed at Buhrmaster Oil Co. in Warnerville as an account clerk.
She was predeceased by her husband, Victor R. Taylor, who died in 1995.
Survivors include her children: Laurie (Ron M.) Sager of Warnerville, Victor "Butch" (Beth) Taylor, III of Worcester, Lee A. (Gus) Lamont of Schoharie, Sheri (Nelson) Castro of Sharon Springs, and Victor (Liza) Taylor II of Cobleskill; 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
At the family's request, there will be no public services. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, West Main Street, Cobleskill, NY 12043.
