Jill Suchocki

Cobleskill- Jill Collins Suchocki, 47, formerly of Elm St., died Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at her mother's home with her loving family at her side.

Born November 11, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Duane "Tip" Collins and Norma J. (Bearden) Collins, who survives her.

Jill was a 1980 graduate of the former Cobleskill Central School and for the past fourteen years had been a Keyboard Specialist at SUNY Cobleskill.

She found pleasure in gardening, decorating for the holidays, taking care of pets, sunbathing and the outdoors. Jill was a member of the Pink Hat Society.

Survivors include her son: John V. Suchocki, US Marine Corp., Cherry Point, NC; her mother, Norma J. Collins of Cobleskill; her two brothers: Kevin L. (Ann) Collins of Hyndsville, and Gary N. (Nancy) Collins of Carlisle; a nephew, Kevin T. (Amanda) Collins of Cobleskill, niece, Kerry A. Collins of Hyndsville, nephew, Peter C. Collins of Carlisle and niece, Jennifer L. Collins of Carlisle.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill with Vena Ray officiating. Friends are also invited to a period of visitation from 6 to8 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Richmondville Rural Cemetery.
