Warnerville- Jerry Jack Clapper, 78, of Clapper Road, Warnerville, died Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown.
Born on March 9, 1945 in Cobleskill, he was the son of William Nelson Clapper and Julia Jennie (Hadsell) Clapper.
Jerry enjoyed woodcarving, trying different inventions, wildlife, animals, and the outdoors.
Jerry is survived by his sister, Linda L. Adams; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 10AM to 11AM at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street, Cobleskill, NY where a memorial service will be held at 11AM at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Carlisle Cemetery.
Contributions in memory of Jerry can be made to the Animal Shelter of Schoharie County, PO Box 40, Howes Cave, NY 12092 or an Animal Rescue of your choice.
