Jennie Pedone

Cobleskill- Jennie Pedone, 87, of Lawyersville Road, died Friday, May 25, 2012 at Robinson Terrace Nursing Home in Stamford, NY.

Born February 12, 1925, she was the daughter of Joseph and Josephine (Maggio) Spedale.

Jennie was a seamstress for J&S Young in Lindenhurst for many years. She and her husband resided in Brooklyn, Farmingdale, and Port Richey, FL, until moving to Cobleskill in 2005.

Jennie was a wonderful mother, who cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a loving and caring person, and was a marvelous Italian cook.

Survivors include her husband, Filippo Pedone, whom she married June 15, 1946; her three daughters: Diane (Tod) Nicolai of Cobleskill, Josephine (Donald) Schel and Rosemarie (Kenneth) Pucci all of Norwich, NY; her grandchildren: Loretta (Owen) Watstein, Donald (Kristen) Schel, Pamela Pucci, Brian (Kerri) Pucci, Eric (Jessica) Pucci, Scott Nicolai, and Daniel Nicolai; seven great-grandchildren: Brandon and Christian Pucci, Isabella Pucci, Holden and Oliver Schel, Skylar and Shelby Watstein; two brothers and a sister.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Cobleskill United Methodist Church, Chapel St., Cobleskill with Rev. Pamela Mikel Hayes officiating. Calling hours will be private. Burial will follow in Cobleskill Rural Cemetery.
