Jennie Kniskern

Richmondville- Mrs. Jennie Kniskern, 82, of Court Street, died Sunday, November 9, 2008 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown.
Mrs. Kniskern was born December 12, 1925 in the Town of Seward, the daughter of Ray and Bessie (Diamond) Proctor.
She was a lifelong area resident and retired the Mart Cleaners in Cobleskill where she was a seamstress for many years.
Mrs. Kniskern was a member of the Hyndsville United Methodist Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Leon Kniskern, who died in 1977.
Survivors include her two sons: Myron (Jacqueline) Kniskern of Richmondville, and Paul Kniskern of Richmondville; two sisters: Gertrude Wilday of Little York, NY and Gilberta Warner of Warnerville; two granddaughters: Paula Kniskern of Charlton, NY and Michelle (Robert) Haney of Niskayuna; and two
Great-granddaughters: Emilee and Katherine Haney both of Niskayuna.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Seward Valley Cemetery, Dorloo.
