Jean Emma Hagadorn, 75, of West Richmondville Road, Cobleskill, New York died Friday, October 4, 2024.
Born November 22, 1948 in Cobleskill, NY, she was the daughter of Mildred E. (Graves) Bogardus and Kingsley B. Dietrich. She was a graduate of Cobleskill Central School, Class of 1967 and was a lifelong resident of the local area.
On June 17, 1982 in Canajoharie, NY, Jean was married to Keith Roland Hagadorn. He preceded her in death on December 22, 2022. Her father, Kingsley B. Dietrich also predeceased her.
Jean worked for Mill Services in Cobleskill for over 40 years.
She loved watching Old Westerns and Gunsmoke.
Jean is survived by her mother and step-father, Mildred E. and Arthur C. Bogardus of Esperance, NY; sister, Carol A. Marshall (Paul Nikolaus) of Sharon Springs, NY; niece, Amy M. Yacobucci of Palatine Bridge, NY; nephew, Ronnie L. Bever of Saratoga Springs, NY; great-nephew, Andrew G. Yacobucci of Canajoharie, NY; great-niece, Taya Yacobucci of Canajoharie, NY; brother-in-law, Harold "Pooch" Hagadorn of Palatine Bridge, NY; sister-in-law, Betty Prentice of East Worcester, NY; several nieces and nephews on the Hagadorn side. As well as her precious dogs, Sissy, Maggie Mae, and Ringo. They were her world.
Special thank you to James Hagadorn, Richard Hagadorn, Jr., and Douglas Hagadorn for helping with the maintenance of her home since her husband's passing. Also Richard Turner for caring for her animals. The family will be forever grateful.
