Jayne Munzo

Middleburgh: Jayne D. Munzo, 44, of Pleasant Avenue died Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown, following a long illness.

Jayne was born on February 24, 1971 in Cobleskill to the late Caroline (Parslow) and Maynard D. Payne, Sr.

Jayne was a homemaker and thoroughly enjoyed painting her fingernails. She helped coordinate the Idol contest at the Cobleskill Sunshine Fair and also assisted in running the Cobleskill donation center following Hurricane Irene. Her greatest love was her family and her friends.

Jayne is survived by her husband, John A. Munzo of Middleburgh, whom she married September 20, 1987 and daughters: Megan (James) Foland of Medusa, Shelby Munzo of Middleburgh, Shauna Munzo of Middleburgh; brothers: Maynard D. Payne, Jr. of Middleburgh, John Payne of Middleburgh, Deloran Payne of Voorheesville; grandchildren: Aubree Foland, Andraya Foland, Aria Foland and Jase Foland.

Services will be held privately at the family's request.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, Middleburgh and the Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, Cobleskill.
