Janet "Jan" Murray-Liberti

Janet Murray-Liberti passed into God’s arms early on May 18th, aged 69. Jan was pre-deceased by her father, Thomas Murray Sr., and her loving and devoted husband, Louis Liberti Sr. She fought a brave battle with Multiple Myeloma for over eight years. She leaves behind two daughters, Margaret Liberti and Amanda Ridings; her grandson (and reason to have continued her fight) Keaton; sister Jeanne Doolittle and brother Thomas Murray Jr.; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Jan was a school administrator for her whole career. Described as the fearless leader, advocate, and supporter by students, faculty, and fellow administrators, she worked tirelessly to provide the best opportunities for the entire school system.

As requested by Jan, there were no services, only a private burial. Jan spent her last two days here, providing solace and comfort to her, and to Jeanne and Margaret as her caregivers. Without their support, and the support of St. Peter’s oncology unit, Dr. Ola Landgren, and a few very special nurses, she would not have been so comfortable. Jeanne and Margaret are forever grateful for the love and support Jan received.
