Jefferson- Janet Larson, 79, of Meade Road, Jefferson, New York died Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Albany Medical Center.
Born on June 4, 1943 in Bellmore, Long Island, she was the daughter of Joseph Tuma and Jean Sosnicki Tuma. She was a High School graduate and spent most of her life in West Islip, NY.
On Christmas Eve 1962, Janet was married to Edward Larson, Sr.
Janet enjoyed camping, snowmobiling, boating, and flower gardening. She spent many summers with her son and husband on Fire Island and she took pride in keeping a beautiful, warm, and loving home.
Mrs. Larson is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Edward Larson, Sr. of Jefferson, NY; son, Edward Larson, Jr.; grandson, Joseph Larson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 17th at 3:00PM at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street, Cobleskill, NY. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 1:00-3:00PM at the funeral home.
