Richmondville-Mrs. Jane M. Pleickhardt, 52, of Summit St., died Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at her residence.
Mrs. Pleickhardt was born July 25, 1955 in Gouverneur, NY, the daughter of Dolman and Helena (Briggs) Prescott.
She retired from Schoharie County ARC where she had driven bus for two years. Prior to that, she was a bus driver for the former K & K Bus Lines of Richmondville and also was a nurse's aide in Ellis Hospital, Schenectady.
Mrs. Pleickhardt was of Catholic faith.
Survivors include her 2 daughters: Helena Pleickhardt of Howes Cave, and Jeanine Pleickhardt of Hudson, FL; a son, Jonathan Pleickhardt of New Port Richey, FL; 2 sisters: Sheila Nolette of Altamont, and Mary Briggs of Cobleskill; 4 brothers: Gary Prescott of Richmondville, Paul Prescott of Altamont, Garnet Prescott of Austin, TX, and Philip Prescott of Richmondville; 4 grandchildren: Delena, Zaiden, and Brittney Baker, and Kailynn Thompson, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 14 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home 171 Elm St. Cobleskill with Father Edward Golding of St. Anna's Catholic Church in Summit officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM on Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Richmondville Rural Cemetery.
