Honeoye Falls, NY/Cobleskill, NY- Jane Marie (Warner) Zea, 77, of Honeoye Falls, NY formerly of Cobleskill, NY and Bristol, TN, died Sunday, November 22, 2009 at St. John's Nursing Home in Rochester, NY after battling cancer for the last few years.

Mrs. Zea was born November 20, 1932 in the Town of Seward, NY, and was the daughter of David C. and Mary Jane (Ackley) Warner.

A former Schoharie County resident, she moved to Holcomb, NY and then to Bristol, TN, and most recently moved to Honeoye Falls to be with family. She was a member of Assembly of God Church in Bristol, VA. Jane had a passion for cooking, painting and crafts. She was predeceased by her brothers David (Junior), Raymond, Donald, Paul and Harry, and one Grandchild, Alisa.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Clarence H. Zea, whom she married on July 29, 1952, two sons: Gordon C. (Marie) Zea of Geneseo, NY and Randall D. (Nancy Scharlock) Zea of Lima, NY, her brothers: Louis of Cobleskill and Robert of Grand Terrace, CA; sisters: Dorothy (Robert) Hemstreet of Quaker Street, NY and Roberta (Olin) Woodcock of Palatine Bridge, NY; her grandchildren: Sarah of West Bloomfield, NY, Russell (Nikki) of Bolton, MA, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street, Cobleskill, NY with Rev. Wallace Cromwell officiating.
