Jane Lerhinan

Summit- Jane A. Lerhinan, 72, of Rossman Valley Road, died Monday, October 15, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany with her loving family at her side.

Born January 11, 1946 in Astoria, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Dorthea (O’Connell) Bruntrager.

Jane was a graduate of New Hyde Park Memorial High School.  For many years, she was employed at Long Island Jewish Hospital as a data processor.

She married Joseph in 1975 and they moved to Summit in 1993.  Jane had an obsession and love for lottery tickets, primarily scratch-offs.  She was a fashionista, never leaving home without matching nail polish, dress, purse and shoes!

Cherishing her memories are her husband, Joseph; two children: Leonard (Chrissy) Miller, Jr. of Cobleskill and Karlyn (Joseph) Veltri of Coram, NY; five granddaughters: Jaelyn, Jacey, Brianna, Kristen and Sheyla; one grandson, Joseph; one great-grandson, Joseph; and expecting another great-grandson in February, Logan; her brother, Frederick Bruntrager III; sister-in-law, Ronnie Bruntrager; and sister, Dorothy Bruntrager.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3 PM on Friday, October 19, 2018 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 138 Washington Ave., Cobleskill.  Family and friends are also invited to a period of visitation to be held at the church prior to the Mass, from 1 to 3 PM.  Cremation will follow the service.
