James McDonald

James F. McDonald, 82, of Ulster, died Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at HealthAlliance Hospital Broadway Campus in Kingston following a brief illness.

Born January 11, 1936 in Brandon, NY, he was the son of Albert J. and Edna (Harrington) McDonald.  Jim was an engineer, retiring from Metro North after many years.

He is survived by his sister, Dolores "Dee" Pendell of Summit,

Private services will be held for the family and interment will be in Summit Cemetery,  Memorial contributions may be made to Summit Fire Dept. Support Services, PO Box 400, Summit, NY 12175 or Summit Rescue Squad, PO Box 296, Summit, NY 12175.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill, NY.
