Hilda Gale

Mrs. Hilda P. Gale, 96, died Saturday, December 23, 2006 at Eden Park Healthcare Center in Cobleskill where she had been a resident for the past four years.
Mrs. Gale was born January 11, 1910 in West Fulton, NY the daughter of Percy and Kathryn (Rossman) Partridge.
She retired from Wright's Clothing Store in Gilboa as manager. Mrs. Gale was a former member of the Grand Gorge Methodist Church, Central Bridge Senior Citizens, and B.P.O.E. Lodge #2040 Auxiliary. She was an avid bowler and square dancer.
Mrs. Gale was predeceased by her husband, Chester Gale in 1965 and a son, Gilber Gale in 1967.
Survivors include a niece, Gale Miller of Howes Cave, and a nephew, John Joseph Homburger of Cooperstown, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
At her request, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Burial will be in Breakabeen Cemetery.
