Livingstonville, NY; Henry K. Olbert, 86, of Livingstonville , died Sat. April 15, 2006 at his home, surrounded by his family.
Mr. Olbert was born on June 2, 1919, in Helmhof, Germany, a son of the late Wilhelm and Luise Ohnmacht Olbert. Mr. Olbert worked for Schaller & Weber in Astoria, NY as a Master Butcher, retiring after 22years of employment. He was a member of the German American Club, the Butcher's Union and the Town of Broome Volunteer Fire Dept. Henry enjoyed hunting, gardening and swimming in the Gulf of Mexico. He was also very proud of his two homes in NY and FL. He was predeceased by his 9 siblings.
Mr. Olbert is survived by his wife, Erna H. Olbert, of Livingstonville, whom he married on Feb. 1, 1940 and

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, April 19, at Palmer & Shaylor, Inc. Funeral Home 134 River St. Middleburgh, NY. Friends may call from 2 to 3 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Rev. Carol Coltrain, of the Huntersland United Methodist Church will officiate. Cremation will take place at Vale Cemetery Crematorium, Schenectady, NY
