Helen Goodwin

Mrs. Helen K. Goodwin, 89, formerly of Mount Vernon, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown.
Mrs. Goodwin was born July 21, 1918 in Mount Vernon, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Favalono) Rondino. She was a former Director of Mt. Vernon Teacher's Federal Credit Union and former secretary of the Italian Civic Association of Mt. Vernon. Mrs. Goodwin enjoyed nature, spending time with friends and family and dining at Mrs. K's Kitchen in Middleburgh.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007 at the Palmer & Shaylor, Inc. Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh, NY. Rev. Thomas Holmes will officiate. Calling hours will be from 1-3 P.M., prior to the service. Burial will be private. Cremation will take place at the Vale Cemetery Crematorium, Schenectady, NY.
