Grover Warner

Schoharie- Grover Warner, 71, of Fair Street in Schoharie, died Saturday, March 31, 2018 at The Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital after a brief illness.

Grover was born November 13, 1946 in the Town of Middleburgh.

He was a member of the Schoharie County ARC since the late 1980’s most of which he lived in the Elm Street home in Cobleskill.  His warm smile will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him and his presence on the front porch steps and glider while basking in the sunshine will always be remembered.  Watching football, listening to cowboy music, consuming Root Beer soda and candy bars, beaded necklaces, jewelry, attending the Sunshine Fair to purchase another cowboy hat, taking rides throughout the county where he could look at barns, cows and nature are his treasured memories.  The color blue was his favorite, no matter the actual color, it was always blue to Grover.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street, Cobleskill, NY.  A period of visitation will be held from 10-11 am prior to the funeral service.  Burial will be held at a later date in Cobleskill Rural Cemetery.
