Cobleskill- Gloria Simpson, 60, of Everett St., died Monday, April 30, 2012, unexpectedly at her residence.
Born November 13, 1951 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of Norris and Elizabeth Simpson
Gloria was a homemaker all her life and found the most pleasure in raising her daughters and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters: Lisa (Julius) Smith of Cobleskill and Mary (Robert) Fairlie of King George, VA; nine grandchildren: Kristine Newman, Roger Graham, Tina Graham, William Graham, Bryan Graham, John Graham, Adam Rogers, Faith Smith, and Kendall Fairlie; and one great-granddaugther: Taylor Rose.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St. Cobleskill with John Jarvis officiating. Burial will be in Cobleskill Rural Cemetery.
