Glen Roger Walsh

April 15, 1957 — June 25, 2025

Schenectady- Glen Roger Walsh, 68, Schenectady, New York died Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at his home, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was the son of John Walsh and Ethel Dauley. He attended Linton High School in Schenectady.

Glen worked at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, until retirement.

He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and New York Giants. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Glen was the nicest man you could ever meet, and he was a beloved son, brother, and uncle.

He is predeceased by his parents and siblings, John Walsh, Jr., Phyllis Gallione, and Charlene Monaco.

Glen is survived by his siblings, Ronald (Maureen), Darlene (Wiley) Shedina, Diane Mitchell, Thomas Walsh, Suzanne (Michael) Almond; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 10:00-11:00 AM with a memorial service following at 11:00 AM at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street, Cobleskill, NY 12043. Burial will take place in Summit Cemetery at the family plot.
