George Hall

Richmondville- George Thomas Hall, 63, of Trout Haven Road, died Friday, October 17, 2014 at Community Hospice Inn, Albany, with his loving family at his side.

Born December 5, 1950 in Albany, he was the son of the late George T. and Anna Marie (Cunningham) Hall.

George attended Hudson Valley Community College, where he was president of his fraternity, Kappa Sigma Kappa. Most recently, he was a truck driver for Gorman Brothers, Inc.

George loved time spent with his family and cherished his two grandchildren. He enjoyed boating, golfing and alpine skiing.

Along with his parents, his brother, Joseph, predeceased him.

Survivors include his wife: Patricia (Guinane) Hall, whom he married November 3, 1973; his daughter: Megan (William) Rivenburgh of Rotterdam and their two children: Lylianah and Jacob; two sisters: Kathleen Joyce of Amsterdam, Margaret (Nelson) Morgan of Northville; a sister-in-law: Martha Hall of Latham; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 PM on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 138 Washington Ave., Cobleskill with Rev. Jeffrey L'Arche as celebrant. Family and friends are also invited to a period of visitation to be held from 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill.

Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice Inn, 315 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
