Frank M. Molen

August 27, 1941 — January 29, 2025

Frank Matthew Molen, 83, of Mary Esther, Florida left us peacefully on January 29, 2025. He was a proud father to five children, 11 grandchildren and, not to mention, a great-grandfather... with two more on their way!

He was born August 27, 1941 in Newark, New Jersey. Frank held quite the eclectic employment history, including a brief time in the military, followed by the meat business, alcohol distribution, accounting, factory and lastly, FedEx, before relentlessly stepping into retirement.

Frank obtained his associates degree from Ryder University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey while working full-time and in addition to his responsibilities as a full-time dad. Always bringing his quick wit and humor wherever he went, he was someone people desired to be around. The “factory” position at Atlas Copco in Voorheesville, New York was where he found his groove and made friends that lasted his lifetime. He made a marked impression at Atlas Copco with "Panelrama". He developed a standard assembly position building electronic control panels into a company recognized department “Panelrama” which assisted in designing, assembling, testing and packaging control systems that operated customer plants for numerous major companies throughout the world. If Frank found himself in an area he was unfamiliar with, he set out to master it, happily teaching others along the way.

Frank found joy in a broad array of hobbies; including home renovation projects, raucous game nights with dear friends filled with laughter, NASCAR and needlepointing - many of his finished projects turned into cherished gifts to his family and friends. In addition to those whom he held dear, Frank's best companion was his beloved Pomerianian, Winston. Together they made quite the pair with Winston's diminutive frame alongside Frank's towering stature and booming voice.

Ultimately, in an effort to keep life simple, as he always had, Frank decided years ago on cremation. A small celebration of life will be planned for a future date.

Frank's family wishes to extend their warmest 'thank-you' to the staff of BayBreeze Senior Living in Gulf Breeze, Florida for their devotion to caring for Frank in his last years as if he were one of their own.
