Obituary

Frank J. Mazzariello, III, 56, of Beards Hollow Road, Richmondville, New York passed Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Cooperstown Center.

Born on October 25, 1969, in Cobleskill, NY, he was the son of Frank J. Mazzariello, Jr. and Mary Lou Vantine Mazzariello. He was a graduate of Cobleskill High School, Class of 1987-Go Red Devils! He was a lifelong resident of Schoharie County.

Frank worked for the Town of Richmondville Highway Department for 15 years. He was also a bus driver for Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School, up until Covid. Most recently, he drove Tractor Trailer for Tri City Highway Products/Landcaster Development. He left his job due to illness.

Frank was a member of Fusion Community Church.

He was predeceased by his parents and brothers, Gary Sala and Donald Sala.

Frank is survived by his daughters, Emily M. Mazzariello of Cobleskill, NY, Peyton Mazzariello of Cobleskill, NY; sister, Marie Victoria Mazzariello of Central Bridge, NY; sister-in-law and friend, Diane Sala of Toms River, NJ; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, September 3rd, 2026, from 4:00-6:00PM at Fusion Community Church, 375 North Grand Street, Cobleskill, NY 12043. A memorial service will follow at 6:00PM at the church. Following the memorial service there will be a fellowship meal for friends and family.  A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 5th, 2026. A time and location of the celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers Frank, and his family request you plant some black-eyed Susan's or cherry trees in his memory. Donations may be made to Marathon for a Better Life or the Wayne Collin's Memorial Fund.
