Holiday, FL - Francine Ann Cieplensky, 75, of Holiday, FL, formerly of Sharon Springs, NY and Closter, NJ, died Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Bay Care Alliant Hospital in Dunedin, FL, following a short illness.

Born and raised in New York City, Fran was the beloved daughter of Frank and Elizabeth (McManus) Stanowitz. She was a graduate of St. Jean de Baptiste School in Manhattan and was co-owner and cook for The Hollywood Too Restaurant in Sharon Springs, NY from 1984 until retiring in 1990.

Fran is survived by her loving husband, Anthony, and her three adoring children: Elizabeth (Peter) Koonz of Slingerlands, NY, Anthony Cieplensky of Sharon Springs, NY, and James (Dawn) Cieplensky of Guilderland. Her two beloved sons, Robert and Michael, predeceased her. She is also survived by twelve cherished grandchildren: Steven, Greg, and Katie Rossettini, Anne (Chad) McBroome, Cristina, Jaclyn, Jessica, Brian, Kevin, Robert and Katherine Cieplensky, and Tyler Combs. She was also very excited to learn that she was soon to be a great-grandmother.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010 at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 138 Washington Ave., Cobleskill with Father Thomas F. Holmes, as celebrant. Burial will follow in Sharon Cemetery, Leesville, NY. Family and friends are also invited to a period of visitation to be held on Tues. from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill, NY.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
