Frances VanNatten

COBLESKILL- Mrs. Frances L. VanNatten, 85, of Candlelight Way, died Sunday, July 20, 2008, at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY.
She was born January 19, 1923 in the Town of Seward, NY, and was the daughter of Olin M. and Maisie (Lawyer) Patterson.
Mrs. VanNatten was a 1941 graduate of the Cobleskill Central Schools and was employed as a beauty consultant for Fashion 220 of Aurora, OH. She was a member of the Wesleyan Church in Cobleskill, serving on the Board, and several committees including the Director of Nursing Home Ministry at the former Eden Park Healthcare Center.
She was predeceased by 4 sisters, Charlotte Patterson, Aneita Walbroehl, Mabel Patterson, Dorothy Pickett,and a brother, William Patterson.
Mrs. VanNatten is survived by her husband, Herbert L. VanNatten, whom she married on April 23, 1943, 3 sons, Herbert H. VanNatten of Coblekskill, Arthur J. VanNatten of Fuquay Varina, NC, Charles VanNatten of Rotterdam, 2 sisters, Alice Palmer of Lawyersville, Betty Horton of Lansing, MI, 12 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at the Wesleyan Church, Legion Drive, Cobleskill. Calling Hours will be held Tuesday, July 22, 2008 from 6-8 pm at the Church. Burial will be in Cobleskill Rural Cemetery, Cobleskill, NY.
