Faith McClure

Faith Jean McClure (87) of Cobleskill, New York passed away April 3, 2021 surrounded by her family. She will be laid to rest beside her loving husband, George, during a graveside service at 11am Saturday, May 15, 2021. (Bramanville-Prospect Cemetery, NY-7, Howes Cave, NY 12092)

Faith was born on February 27, 1934 in White Plains, New York to Effie (Green) and Wilfred R. Wilson. At 18-years-old she married the love of her life, George McClure, also of White Plains. Together they raised a family of three children and operated multiple successful businesses in the Cobleskill, New York community. Throughout her life, Faith enjoyed competitive bowling, gardening, bird watching and she was an avid seamstress.

Faith was preceded in death by her husband and parents. She is survived by her children: Dale John (Lucinda) McClure of Howes Cave, NY; Ross Bruce McClure of Colonie, NY; and Debra Jean McClure Shipp of Nashville, TN; three sisters: Florence of Venice, FL; Frances and Felicia, both of Lockwood, NY; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
