F. Peifer
Cobleskill- F. Werner Peifer, 73, formerly of Legion Drive, died Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown.
Born August 24, 1938 in Cologne, Germany, he was the son of Franz and Katherine (Huven) Peifer.
Werner lived in the Cobleskill area for many years and retired from the former Internknitting where he was an engineer.
He leaves his family in Europe as survivors.
Private services will be held with burial in Cobleskill Rural Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Otsego Manor, 128 Phoenix Mills Crossroads, Cooperstown, NY 13326.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St. Cobleskill and Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh.
