Evelyn P. Tripp

Evelyn P. Tripp, 86, of Grovenors Corners Road, Cobleskill died Thursday, June 6, 2024 at A.O. Fox Nursing Home in Oneonta.

Born on April 29, 1938 in Seward, New York, she was the daughter of Marvin Bellinger and Ruth Aileen Zea Bellinger. She was a graduate of Cobleskill Central School, Class of 1957 and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Cobleskill.

Evelyn enjoyed birdwatching, traveling, gardening, and scrapbooking. She was a former bowling league member, and a member of Cobleskill Young at Heart.

On July 29, 1956 Evelyn married Alvin D. Tripp. He preceded her in death on January 29, 2011. She was also predeceased by her son, Dale Anthony Tripp.

She is survived by her children, Barbara (Lee) Pullman of Cobleskill, NY, Cindy (George) Tracy of Vero Beach, FL, Phillip (Cheryl Holt) Tripp of Sharon Springs, NY, Kathy (Ted) Breutsch of Carlisle, NY; brother, Harry Ivan Bellinger of Howes Cave, NY; 5 grandchildren, Julie Rehberg, Christian Tripp, Zachary Tripp, Mackenzie Tripp, and Natalee Tracy.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 13th, 2024, at 10:00 am at First Baptist Church, Main Street, Cobleskill, NY. Burial will be private at Cobleskill Rural Cemetery.
