Mrs. Emma Beck, 94, formerly of Richmondville, died Thursday, October 25, 2007 at Otsego Manor in the Town of Otsego, NY.
Mrs. Beck was born January 1, 1913 in Yonkers, the daughter of John and Anna (Salko) Menchen.
She retired from Reader's Digest where she was employed as a clerk. Mrs. Beck also assisted in the daily operations of Beck Builders, Inc. located in Scarsdale, NY.
In 1988 Mrs. Beck moved from Scarsdale to reside in Richmondville. She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Beck, who died in 1984
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Grasso of Cobleskill and her brother, Martin Menchen of Yonkers.
Cremation took place at Vale Cemetery Crematorium. There will be no services or calling hours.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home 171 Elm St. Cobleskill and Palmer & Shaylor, Inc. Funeral Home of Middleburgh.
