Middleburgh, NY: Elsie C. Galotta, 87, of Union St., died Mon. April 17, 2006 at her home.
Mrs. Galotta was born on October 21, 1918, in West Lebanon, N.H., a daughter of the late Charles and Eva Jane (Rowell) Carr. She was employed by Avon, in Rye, NY and attained the position of District Manager. While with Avon, Mrs. Galotta hired and trained more than 1,500 sales representatives and was honored as the Empire Division's leading sales representative multiple times. She was an avid and adventurous traveler, belonging to 5 different recreational vehicle clubs. Mrs. Galotta was also an active member of the Middleburgh Golden Age Club. With her late husband, Joseph Galotta, they shared great compassion and concern for the Middleburgh Community and surrounding areas of Schoharie County. Mrs. Galotta was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She was predeceased in death by her first husband, Richard P. Miinch, second husband, Joseph J. Galotta, a son, Theodore E. Miinch, two sisters and one brother.

A memorial service will be held on Sat. April 22, 2006 at 2:00P.M. at the Palmer & Shaylor, Inc. Funeral Home, 134 River St. Middleburgh, NY. Rev. Carol Coltrain of the Huntersland United Methodist Church will officiate. Friends may call Sat. from 1-2P.M. prior to the service. Cremation took place at the Vale Cemetery Crematorium, Schenectady, NY.
